I think this is a great book. I was just sending a letter to an editor and it gave me all the imformation I needed for Stone Soup and other companies. I think young kids 8-16 should check out this book. If you love writing share your talent!

Really helpful. I keep it with me always since I am in the throes of a rough draft BUT I was really disappointed prior to buying it that I read a review giving the heads up about the left-wing agenda in the book. SERIOUSLY?! Is there no safe haven away from the overwhelming liberal bias?

I find this book very helpful, as a newbie to writing. I had never heard of many, if not most, of these resources, and was happy to see even the listings of greeting card companies! Personlly, the only thing that turned me off was seeing the listings of many Leftwing "politically correct" resources, which I feel, are causing many problems today. I feel their agendas are not compatible with, and do not speak for, mainstream America, yet are being imposed even on impressionable young people, even on children. Many societal problems can be traced to these agendas. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this book. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to write. It is very comprehensive and contact info is readily available.
