A good anthology of essays, poetry, short story, children story

    To C.B; From Serenity

Thank you so much for your kind words! Even with my "skill with words", I still cannot express to you how grateful I am for your compliments. As an answer to your question, I turned twelve years old in Febuary, and I am an aspiring author, as you could tell. Believe it or not, I meant for the book title to be Serenity; my stage name, though, is Jessa. I am definitely looking in to publishing, if not this book, than one of the others I have been working on. Congratulations on your early publishing; I know if you send me the title of the book, I would certainly buy it. Now, as you requested, a brief overview of the book: This story is set in a futuristic society, where Dark Ones, a demon-like species, had turned Earth into a wasteland of ash and fire. Few humans out of billions escaped the Dark Ones' grasp, and they discovered a very small island made up of wild, unprecedented forests. They ventured into the trees, away from the demons, and started a colony made up of warriors (WarFighters), nurturers (CareTakers), leaders (Elders), and food and material providers (Hunters). Since then, the colony has thrived, hidden from the Dark Ones. The story follows a young WarFighter named Raven, who discovers a nest of Dark Ones on an island near theirs, and they must prepare for war or perish.
