Welcome to the fabulous U Chic College Girl's Planner!

This is your place to stay organized, make special plans, keep dates, write down your goals, and, overall, get inspired to live out your big dreams.

"Really, can I do all that?" you may ask.

You'll be surprised at the power you have in just writing down your plans and goals and staying organized. And now that you are in charge of your schedule these days, your future is entirely up to you, and that is exciting! With the U Chic College Girl's Planner, you are one step closer to making your dreams come true!

To help you get started, here's a short list of the essential journal sections included in the planner and an explanation of how you can make them a part of your routine:

1. Action Plan: Do not skip this part! This is our favorite section of the planner, because it's all about you-what you want out of school and life. Be sure to find a quiet place and revisit this section frequently. You can set goals, track progress, and discover new opportunities every time you use it.

2. Calendar: Featuring a calendar view with ample space to write everything down from classes to meetings to parties, this section is a great way to quickly plan out your entire academic and social calendar each month.

3. Weekly Appointments: This is the section you'll want to use every day to include extra information on those big appointments, meetings, dates, or exams.

4. Study and Shopping Checklists: To keep you on track for success in school and in life, use our study and shopping checklists created just for you!

So, that's it-simple, really, but truly essential to your success in college and beyond. Also, be sure to visit our website at www.UniversityChic.com for more great advice from U Chic experts, special promotions, and information on can't miss events and activities that will help you have a fabulous college experience.

The plan...

Sometimes we get so tied up with our busy schedules. That's what a large part of this journal is all about. But it is equally-if not more-important to take a step back, breathe, and really think of where we are heading with our lives. Without this perspective, we will never be able to fill our schedules with activities and plans that matter to us.

Since U Chic is all about helping you live the life you've dreamed of, we included the U Chic Action Plan section to get you thinking about the BIG picture. Maybe you don't know what you want to be in the future, but you probably have some vision for how you'd like your future to look.

Here's how it works...

At the beginning of each semester (trimester or quarter, depending on what academic calendar your school follows), take some time to fill out an action plan. This way, you can think hard about what you want to accomplish and track your progress as you accomplish your goals.

Not every item has to be about academic goals. Maybe you want to take on a leadership role, or maybe you're looking to be more social. No matter what your goal is, the U Chic Action Plan section is the place to make note of it! Also, not everything can be accomplished in one semester, but you can definitely give yourself props if you are doing things that contribute to your long-term goals in life.

And definitely don't worry if your goals or plans change, as it's completely normal for this to happen as you make your way through college. In fact, that is exactly what's supposed to happen!

The best part about taking time to write down what matters most to you is that you can always look back and reflect on how far you have come, which is a great way to feel confident about all the changes you are making along the way.

Now it's your turn...

You don't have to be a college graduate to begin working on your life goals and dreams. In fact, you can start right here! Write your goals down for the semester, year, college, and beyond. Revisit them often, and revise them as needed each semester. Once your goals are in place, you can plan your schedule each day, week, and month, so that your activities are aligned with these goals. For instance, maybe your goal is to live in Paris after graduation. Write it down here, and then start planning things like French courses, French club involvement, or even a semester abroad in France. Before you know it, you'll be making your dream come true. Now, that's power. So let's get started!
