2012 Amy Knapp's Family Organizer Engagement Calendar

This is a great organizer for Moms!!

I have been using this wonderful organizer for 5 years now. I love the space to write out a tear-out weekly grocery list, space to plan menus and space to plan out weekly and monthly goals. (In the Christian edition, the goals section is reduced and below it a prayers and praise section has been added.) It has weekly pages AND monthly pages. Each month's page is at the beginning of that month's weekly pages. One caution I do see is that when you have a weekly page on the backside of the monthly page, you could mistakenly lose your monthly planning section if you tore out the grocery list on the backside weekly page. At least the design makes impossible to tear out the monthly grid. Also, some reviewers in the past were critical of the 18 month time span (August through December of the following year.) I like this format. I think that the cost and marketing of having two versions outweigh the extra pages that you get with this format. I also don't think the product would be less expensive as some reviewers thought. Now that my kids are older, I prefer a calendar that matches the school year. However, when my kids were smaller, I used the planner based on calendar year. To eliminate the extra weight, simply take scissors and cut out the pages you won't be using. This is easy to do with a spiral format. This calendar did go through a redesign for 2011. Here is a summary of the changes: 1. In the back, two pages were eliminated. The family Budget Planner and Amy Knapp's Family story. 2. With the elimination of these two pages, the rest of the pages were shifted. So now the "babysitter information" pages and "Let Us introduce our children" pages are now front and back of the same sheet of paper, which is not as convenient as the past editions. In the past editions you could open the book to this section and have both of these pages easily viewable by your babysitter. I contacted the publisher about this, and they recognize this as an issue, and they assured me that these pages will be shifted back in future editions. 3. And I was disappointed to see that this product was no longer printed in the United States. Printing is now done in Korea. However, overall the quality of this book is still EXCELLENT and the format is great for Moms to use to keep organized. I have looked at many organizers and in my opinion this is the best one out there for busy Moms!
