Praise for The LEEP
5 Stars: from a Busy Mom

"This list of holidays, events and observances is the perfect tool for creating an editorial calendar. This book saved me so much time and is well worth the money. I can't imagine creating an editorial calendar without it."

5 Stars: You won't run out of ideas with this book!

"This publication is great. It's easy to store (not bulky) and the price is fantastic. Of course, there is an almost never-ending list of special days that you can use to create newsworthy angles.

The pages are organized in a user-friendly format and the content is double indexed. There are even "notes" pages. You certainly won't run out of ideas with this book.

I'm a fan of any tool that will help me create tie-ins and story angles (and fit within my budget). I highly recommend it!"

Nancy Spencer (publicist), Canada

Meet the Author

Born in Rochester, New York, Laura Dawn Lewis is the eldest of two and grew up on the West Coast of the United States. She attended high school in Oregon and Brazil prior to graduating from Central Washington University with a BS in Marketing.
In 1989 she began working for the Washington Post's The Herald in Everett, Washington, first in circulation and later in advertising where she discovered her talents in art, photography and writing. She left in 1994, spending a year in radio at KZOK in Seattle; in 1996 began working for the Los Angeles Business Journal in advertising.
In 1999, Miss Lewis founded Couples Company, an online resource, community and publication based upon the Eight Stages of Intimacy. Concurrently she began consulting on marketing and sales strategy in addition to working with a partner based in the region covering humanitarian issues and current events in the Middle East under his name. Their coverage of these issues has won them over a dozen international journalism awards and prompted an invitation for her to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to learn about the Islamic culture whilst assisting with research on an upcoming book covering the history of the region, oil and politics.
In January 2011 she merged Couples Company with two companies and turned her attention toward the book publishing industry.
Passionate about history, education and human rights and known for her creative thinking and intellectual curiosity. Though she's spent time living in England and Saudi Arabia, Miss Lewis currently resides in Los Angeles, California with her cat, Sinatra.

This calendar just made my job as Marketing Director so much easier. I love that the source URLs are attached to the alphabetical listings. It's simple to navigate by category or key word. I had no idea there were so many events and I love the historical date notations.
