I've been using these products for years. Love this style planner. This year, 2014, however, the planners have changed. Over the years the planner started in July and ended in December of the next year. This current version starts in August. That's ok. I can handle that. The most disappointing innovation is the absence of the spiral binding. A spiral binding allows the book to be in an open position with the backs together. This newer version for 2014 is glued or sown and cannot be adapted to stay open in the previous way with the spirals. I would certainly be willing to fork over five or more dollars for the return of the spiral binding. Please reconsider and return the design to its more utilitarian design from the past.

Bought this product for the beginning of my junior year in college last August and fell in love. It's the perfect size to fit in a purse or backpack. The inside has plenty of space for a busy schedule (I kept track of work, school and family events, and 18 hours of classes). I also love that they include holidays on the appropriate date as well as a list, lunar phases, zodiac signs, and a U.S. map. My absolute favorite things are the tear-able corners, so you can always find your spot, and the pocket in the back to hold small notes and things. I have the Moroccan Borders pattern and get a compliment on it all the time. I used this both in the U.S. and took it with me when I studied abroad in Wales. I'm now looking to buy a new one for the next year.
I don't have any negative things to say about this planner and I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to keep track of their busy schedule.
PS - I prefer it without a spiral spine, since I tend to have trouble with spirals getting bent out of shape and getting difficult to turn.

I've been using these planners for ages. I think the other review has mistaken which product they've used because this one is EXACTLY like my one from 2013 with the exception of the new cover design. Was this review helpful?
