    It Is What It Is

It serves its purpose with quiet dignity. To the best of my ability to determine, all of the dates it presents are the correct ones. It occupies a place of honor on my desk, but it is not prideful. It offers wisdom, yet does not hector. It understands that it may not be here next year, because time.
