Jennifer Holliday is THE most distinctive, soul-wrenching singer I've heard to date. Her sultry interpretation of song have kept her at the top of her game throughout the years. Since her rendition of ''And I am telling you'' in 1981, Holliday has proved that she can belt out songs with an originality and style that are all her own. Whether you enjoy jazz, soul or R&B, you'll find Jennifer is everything you've wanted in an artist and much more!!

All Music Guide - Heather Phares
The Best of Jennifer Holliday: The Millennium Collection gathers highlights from the Tony Award-winning singer/actress, including "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" and "I Am Changing" from the original cast album of Dreamgirls, the musical that made her a star. "This Game of Love," "Just Let Me Wait," "No Frills Love," and "New at It" are some of the other standout tracks from this compilation, which isn't quite as comprehensive as Geffen's The Best of Jennifer Holliday but is nevertheless a concise, enjoyable overview of some of her definitive moments.
