Horrible writing style. Author assumes readers could not remember an explaination given a few sentences before and reexplains everything over and over. The story wanders with tons of pointless pontification. Liked the idea. Hated the book. Do not bother to try and wade through it.

I've read a number of books with a focus on the alleged events predicted for December 21, 2012. This is, by far, the best I've found. It treats the subject in a unique but fictionally plausible manner, and maintained my interest from page 1 through the finish. The ending sentence of each chapter was a bit overdone, but beyond that I can't find any fault with this book. It's hard to believe it was self-published, because there wasn't a misspelling, a typo, a grammatical error, or any of the distractions frequently found in self-published stuff, because nobody edits it. All around, this was a great read, and I heartily recommend it.

Not a bad book, makes you think but repeated a lot of the same info.
