All Music Guide - Michael Ofjord
Lawrence Welk, the man who entertained America for 29 consecutive years on television, was as famous for his accent as much as his music. Rhythmically the playing might be toned down a bit, and the vocals might be stylized. Still, there is a spirit beyond mere professionalism that can't be denied. For those who enjoyed Lawrence Welk over the years, or are fans of the big-band era, this is an easy collection to enjoy.

Excellent Collection of Lawrence Welk's Best Songs

This CD is a wonderful collection of some of the all-time favorite hits from the Lawrence Welk Show's long run on television. The songs are good clean family-friendly music. In this day and age of the immorality and obscene lyrics of "rap" and "rock and roll" music, it is nice to know that there is still some good music out there. I highly recommend it to anybody who loves good music!
