    Great for summer reading list

I got this for my daughter, who was looking for something to sink her teeth into (other than vampire books, I should say) this summer. I downloaded it onto my tablet, too, and am truly enjoying it. I had read several abridged versions of the Three Musketeers, so it was nice to finally read the long version, plus the Man in the Iron Mask and Twenty Years After. I was not aware that the story continued in multiple volumes.

Many of these novels are very long, so you'll have enough to keep yourself busy for awhile! Be sure to set bookmarks if you're worried about losing your place.

    Question before buying

I have read all the books on this list - and it is a wonderful collection. But why would one pay $0.99 for all of them when you can just download them for free anyway? They are all out of copyright books, and B&N's site has them available for download for free. Is it due to convenience, or are the pages formatted nicer than their free counterparts? Thanks!

Just as good as the first 25 Favorite Novels volume

I bought this after reading and thoroughly enjoying the first 25 Favorite Novels anthology. The first one contained a lot of my childhood favorites, plus most of Jane Austen's novels. This one is just as enjoyable, with great novels by Dickens, Dumas, Hardy, Forster, and others. I just realized there are several other volumes in this series, so I'll probably end up getting some of those, too.

Looking for Thomas Hardy, found so much more!

This had all the Thomas Hardy books I was looking for, plus a bunch of other books I really enjoyed reading. The E.M.Forster books are definitely a must-read!

    Highly recommend

I love these old stories. They are not only a pleasure to read but also bring memories from my child where I would escape to my own world.

This book is a "Must Have" - check it out!

If you want to read the classic novels that you passed over while in high school and/or college then here is your chance. This great collection is an important part of my Nook library and they are all gathered in one book.
