I am LOVING the fact that this has so many WONDERFUL books in it. It also has one of my favorite stories and movis included... and many hours were devoted to the reading of Wives and Daughters. I was unaware that the last chapter or two were not included due to the death of the Author, Elizabeth Gaskell but I am glad for what we have of it none the less. The charachters are amazing, and while you don't see the fullfillment of the story and the happy ending we desire sometimes life is like that is it not? These collections of stories are amazing, well worth more than the dollar you will spend on it, and worth curling up with any day of the week.

These are all available for free elsewhere but the formatting is rarely this good. I found this a good purchase

I downloaded this collection onto my e-reader, thinking how nice it would be to have all these classics at my fingertips--especially with one kid in high school and another in middle school. I haven't been disappointed.
I've already read one book and am reading another one, and looking forward to reading many more of these beautiful, timeless classics. Unfortunately, I purchased My Antonia for a book club just before I purchased this collection. That's $12 I could have spent elsewhere. This collection has many wonderful stories and I hope to get through them all eventually. Having majored in English Lit, I've read quite a few of these stories already, but because they are so well written, it's a joy to go back and read them again. And with 25 years between college and now, I really do get more out of them. Maybe because I'm reading these for pleasure now and not for a test! Also, should my children need to read any of these classics, I have them all bundled in one great collection.

You get 25 books for 99 cents, does it get better than that? The toc works and as far as i can tell there are no typos. Plus the books are good books and i cant believe ive waited this long to read them , like jane eyre, pride and prejudice, etc. I highly recommend buying this book as well as the other ones in the series with 25 books for $.99. The only complaint i have is that ii cant go to each chapter from the toc if i lose my spot, but as long as i make sure i bookmark my place its all good.

If you're into the classics, like me, you shouldn't miss out on this offer. Absolutely well worth the money. In fact, A LOT for less than a buck and the formatting is great.

I wish my Nookcolor had 3G so I could browse for & start reading a book whenever or where ever I may be. This 99 cent book took care of that problem. I now carry 25 classics with me to help pass time no matter where I may be or how long I might be there!

I've enjoyed re-reading these novels. I read them as I was growing up, and have liked remembering characters that were forgotten through the years. It's like finding old friends. I recommend this set to anyone who is starting their reading adventure, or loves stories and entertaining charactors.

i love that Barnes and Noble has offered so many titles as one book! granted, i've read many of them before downloading this book (all of the Jane Austen, Jane Eyre) but for $0.99, you can't go wrong and i've been reading books i have never read before but have always meant to! at this price, if you can't find even one you like, that's a real shame.

Outstanding value. Easy to navigate -- once you get the hang of it....a bit frustrating at first (easy to get lost, "forced" to return to beginning, etc). Remember: these are old...some of the language is archaic and difficult for modern readers to understand/follow. The "look-up" feature is a must!

Now I'm never without a book! I love the old classics, it brings back memories of my childhood. Except if I finish one, I do not have to wait for a ride to the library.

I was excited to see what I perceived as such a bargain but this was so unreadable that I ended up deleting it. Even one story could not be deciphered. Someone needs to reformat this or stop advertising it.

Almost all my favorite books in one spot, with the easy navigability of Nook. Recommended for the romantic reader, or someone who likes old friends.

What wonderful value; twenty five classics for a dollar! If you like classics, you must have this, though it is a little hard to navigate because the books are not divided into chapters. You can set bookmarks, though. : )

I keep having trouble with this. It will not open in the nook app for iPad and when I was trying to check what was going on, it ordered it again! Now I have to pay twice for something that isn't even working :( I hope to have this resolved so that I can enjoy this book soon
