Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Continuous line images, when quilted as dark lines on a light fabric or in white thread on a dark fabric, can create a striking effect especially on quilted garments. Here, Lee give the quilter some 250 free-hand quilting designs, along with a gallery of finished pieces illustrating how the designs might be used effectively. The designs are grouped into broad subject areas like birds, flowers, animals, and textures and feature clean lines that are simple for the nonartist to follow. One can see these designs being used by other needleworkers, especially in embroidery pieces. Incidentally, the "long-arm quilter" referred to in the subtitle is a special quilting machine. Recommended for public libraries. Copyright 2002 Cahners Business Information.

    Doesn't work on an iPad.

The book is great with fun designs. Unfortunately after purchasing I get a message when I try to open it that it won't open on my device. Not very helpful to learn after purchasing.
