All Music Guide - Tomas Mureika
2W0 is an even stronger album than its predecessor, Worlds Away. Again spurred on by two unforgettable hit singles "We Run," the epic "Home of the Brave", Strange Advance delivers another healthy sampling of great new wave music starting right off the bat with the plaintive "I'll Be the One to Cry". There are some awesome songs on this record "Running Away" and the band really starts to play around with style "The Second That I Saw You," "Nor Crystal Tears", which would really play a role in their third album. A seriously overlooked album by a seriously overlooked band. Essential listening.
