With short stories, I expect to be drawn in to the story immediately and have the story reach its interesting, exciting climax....this story was more of a simple conversation...nicely written...but not what I expected at all.

This quick little read was definitely thought provoking and yet poignant. The writing style was a bit uncultured and basic, but the story, since it was erected from a true scenario, makes you think about what you would do in a similar situation.

It's nice to know that we still have people with caring and loving hearts. Too many people take kindness forgranted.

Thought I was downloading a spooky story. I often find that story titles are very misleading!

Glad to know they stopped to help. I understand his need to write about it....but...as to it getting published? Also glad to know he took care of those two boys n made sure they got an ambulance.

Short stories are great...a reader can get into the meat and potatoes of a story without tons of chapters....this story is about a real life event witnessed by the author...a great retelling

One couples' account of their actions upon noticing a fire. Hopefully all people confronted with similar circumstances would act accordingly.
