    Highly recommended.

I have really appreciated this book and am putting the suggestions into <BR/>practice. The person who recommended this book to me actually hires for ABBOTT. Her sister-in-law got the book and had an interview in just 5 days. She said her family "swears by the book." Because it had been so helpful to get into the Pharmaceutical field.

    3 Days is AWESOME!

There is nothing more to say other than this book was AMAZING! I can't believe how in depth and step-by-step it was. Every concern, worry, or question I had prior to reading this was answered directly. I have read it cover to cover and plan to read it again. Excellent advice that really works! I landed a phone interview AND breezed through it thanks to this book. I was called up by the same company who interviewed me by phone 'a MAJOR pharmaceutical company' and asked to fill out and fax my application to them immediately! Thanks to this book, I am prepared for a face-to-face interview and am very confident that I will know what to say, how to act, and that I will at the very least, land a second face-to-face interview! You cannot go wrong with purchasing this book if you are serious about landing a pharm. rep. career!

Only 23 days and a JOB!

After reading so many encouraging testimonials on this site, I just felt I had to add my success story to the many more before me! I ordered 3 Days book on Jan 4th 2006. I read it completely in one night....what a fantastic approach! I was instantly excited, especially as applying on-line for pharma sales positions was getting me no where! Within 4 days of reading the book I had completely re-written my resume and cover letter, on day 5 it was printed and bound into folders. By day 6 I was ready to go! I only had the afternoon but I couldn¿t wait any longer. I met 6 reps in 3 hrs, all of whom were very helpful and one of which knew of an opening!!! Amazing! He asked me to call him later that night ...which I did. Day 7, I met the rep again for a coffee and a longer chat. On Day 8 the rep very kindly put me forward for 2 positions within the company! On Day 9 I went through the 1st phone screen¿.I got through instantly and I was scheduled for the next level phone screen on Day 14! I passed the second phone screen instantly too and on Day 16 I had my first interview with a DM! On day 18 I was in the field with one of their top reps...Day 21 I had an interview with another DM...Both DM¿s wanted to move me forward to the next level! Day 22 I had an interview with the Regional Business Manager and on Day 23 I WAS OFFERED THE JOB!!!! I start as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep with J n J in 2 weeks! Unbelievable! From book arriving to job offer in 23 days!!! My friends can't believe it either. They are all reading the book now. I¿m so excited and thankful that I bought this book that I wanted to share my story with everyone who is considering a career in pharma sales.

    Lifesaver!

This book is a must-read for anyone currently interviewing (or trying to interview) for this field! It helps spice up your resume and helps you get through tough phone interviews (the worst!). This book really did help me get my first pharm sales job last year, and I'm loving every minute of it. I gave the book to my sister, and now she's getting calls left and right for interviews. It really helps, even though it was pricey, and I've more than made up for it with my bonuses!

    An interview must!

While I don't want to be too overwhelmingly excited, I have to say 'Wow'! I am so glad that I picked this book out of all the books on pharm sales and interviews. So far, it has been right on the money and really has answered all the questions that I have been asked in all my interviews. It gives good insight as to what type of person they are looking for and what answers or personality quirks that might throw up a red flag and disqualify a prospect. I am a firm believer in being yourself and this book helps interviewees how to let their inner sales person shine so that the interviewer can see their full potential.

    Aggressive and unprofessional!

As a professional sales consultant, I am always looking for books that I can utilize as a sales consultant. I have found 3 Days to a Pharmaceutical Sales Interview to be an inferior selling guide. While there is some useful sales information, there is much advice that is not sound and that, if used, will probably eliminate any candidate from being considered for a position. There is a difference between aggression and assertion and this book encourages aggressive sales tactics. Aggression in any sales environment produces negative effects. While I do not wish to be harsh in my review, these are my findings. There are better sales books on the market.

3 Days To A Pharmaceutical Sales Job Interview (2004 Third Edition)

I bought the 3rd Edition of this book (2003-2004 edition). This is by far the most up to date information on the industry that I have seen. It has great contact information for companies, recruiters, pharma job sites, great creative tips for writing a resume that really stands out, a great comprehensive section on interviewing (most of the questions that I was asked were covered in this book), and most of all, great ways to find unadvertised openings. I uncovered 5 openings in my area by using these tips. It really is an outstanding publication. Bookstore quality, great graphics, a great resource and fun to read. Highly recommended!

3 Days To A Pharmaceutical Sales Job Interview (2004 Third Edition)

I just wrote to the author of this book to tell her how happy I am with her program. It took me just 2 days to land my first interview with Hawthorn Pharmaceuticals. The first day of using the program, I met 5 different district managers and they were so impressed by what I was doing to break into this field. I owe it all to this book. The best news of all is that I also got a call from Pfizer and am interviewing with them next week. I met one of their reps using this program. This program is a must for people who are looking to land interviews in this industry. I am a prime example of how a 24 year old recent graduate with very little sales experience can land an interview. With a little Lisa Lane (author) guidance and initiative anyone can do it. Kent
