You really have to enjoy the flexibility of the Arduino board in order to see that this book is barely a nudge in the right direction. I have not programmed many IC boards but have used PLCs and many times I slammed my head against the desk when dealing with what should have been open-source code (only it was not exactly so). I see how this book gave me a taste in the new-found world of technophytes. The introduction is just enough and so are the hands-on projects + examples.
