    This book is dynamite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently purchased this book because I've decided to make losing weight my New Year's resolution. Anyone else care to join me?

"30 Days On The Raw Food Diet" is pretty good. I like what John has to say in and if he can lose that much weight on raw foods, then so can I. I've already lost a couple of pounds since starting the raw food diet and I've only been eating raw foods for 6 days.

I found this book easy to read as well as helpful. It contains lot of information on the raw food diet while giving you a good idea of what to expect. I bought a few other raw food books as well but they were written more from an objective perspective - this one gives you a first person's perspective of what the raw food diet is all about.

Great first person description of the raw food diet!

I read this book and found it to be quite intresting. It's the raw food diet through John Turner's eyes. He starts with a brief intro and then takes you through the 30 days he was on the diet. He lists the exact foods, their weight, and has pictures as well.

I liked his descriptions of what he was feeling each day, plus how he wrote about the changes he experienced. I think it is a great book for anyone who wants to learn more about the raw food diet.

Great overview of what to expect on the raw food diet

I heard about the raw food diet from a friend a few months ago. She mentioned going on it in order to lose weight. I didn't take it seriously at the time, but I saw her a few weeks ago and she lost around 36 lbs. I want to lose a few pounds myself so I decided to buy a couple of books on the raw food diet.

The "30 Day On The Raw Food Diet" was the most interesting. It seems the author is just an everyday guy who decided to eat raw foods for 30 days. He basically goes over the whole process in this book and gives just about every detail. I was interested in whether I could use the raw food diet to lose weight. According to this book I can. If you are just starting out like me, I would definitely recommend this book!

I was studying up on the raw food diet so read several books on my nook. Though I cant say how valid anything on hia 30 day journey was, i have my doubts. The last chapter where he gives his little tips all came directly from Cathrrine Smiths book "the raw food diet" published in july 2011, while John Turners book came out just one month later in August. He uses no refrences to her book or any other claming is all from personal experience which is a total load. To get the real deal i recommend Catherine Smiths book of course and Becoming raw

    This book rocks!!!!!!

I really liked the author's raw honesty in this book. Unlike other books, he really puts it ALL out there. There is no glossing over the negatives or positives for that matter. He just tells it like it is.

If you are thinking about trying raw foods, this book will put things into perspective for you. Having been there, I definitely recommend it. Way to go John!

Made me feel like I was there with him every step of the way!

Great account of his 30 day journey. I personally felt like I was living with the author day by day. This book was very inspirational. I will be starting my own 30 day raw food trial soon so I bought this book as a reference. Glad I did. I liked reading about Mr. Turner's journey and hope mine goes just as smoothly.

I got this book while my husband and I were trying to lose weigh

I got this book while my husband and I were trying to lose weight. This is a great guide on the raw food diet from a first person perspective. I really enjoyed reading it and it was easier for my husband and I to tackle the diet knowing other people had done it. Although you won't find any advanced raw food recipes in this book, John does share a great perspective on what eating raw is all about. I definitely recommend it.
