    Well worth the money.

    I am a hunter whose family does not share in my joy of venison. My wife does not even have an interest in cooking it. Therefore, I bought a small crock pot with the idea that I could prepare it at work for lunch. I was looking for a simple (guy type)cookbook that had Venison recipes that were pretty simple and didn't require a lot of cooking skills. This book is focused on Venison and very easy to follow. For what I was looking for, it is the perfect book

    Okay, not great. I agree with most that Rick Black's 'Bag Em' and Tag Em'' and Venison Cookbook are by far better books for the workin' man.

    The 301 Venison Recipes Cookbook is well, the same old thing. I know there has been alot of talk about Iowa's Rick Black and his line of wild game cookbooks, but Mr. Black has my vote. I have yet to find a more down home, redneck, funny cookbooks with great hunting tips as Rick Black's line of books. I have just about everyone he has out from 'Bag em and Tag em' to 'Bird Up' and all the books in between. I think the 'Wild Turkey Cookbook' and 'The Funky Duck Cookbook' are world clasic's.
