Being a freemason myself there are some aspects from the auther that i totally disagree with. That being said I am only a blue lodge Mason I have not gone threw the York Rite or Scottish Rite or Shrine degrees yet. So not haveing gone threw these degree yet I can not comment. The authers statement that if one goes threw these degrees that you are turning your back on Jesus Christ has in my mind totally missed the mark. My faith in Jesus has gotten even stronger when I became a master mason.
