I just finished 3 weeks of HCG and this book was so much help! I bought it before I started and it really explains how the diet works and how to portion out your food.
You eat small amounts several times a day on the HCG diet and the snacks are easy - like eat an apple. But the lunches and dinners are harder. You have to make something using only the approved food items and you can't use any oil or fats or cheese or lots of other stuff. It's tricky to come up with good meals.
The recipes in this book are mostly for the meals and they use a serving of meat plus a vegetable or two. The best thing is that they explain how to make sauces and marinades, etc. using only the few ingredients allowed. And the food is really great!
The garlic shrimp is one of my favorites, and I'm excited to make it with expanded items now that I'm on maintenance. The Taco Salad is a life-saver for lunches. Easy to make ahead and take to work.
For only 99 cents you can't go wrong with this book!

This book really helped me understand how the HCG diet works and what the rules are. I've been using these great recipes and they are delicious. I especially like the Garlic Shrimp and the Taco Salad. The tips in here make it super easy to follow the diet and I really am losing about a pound a day!
