Finally a games book I can use

Having taught for over 20 years from K through 7th grade, I am always on the look out for more fun activities. This book was recommended to me by a peer, I purchased it hoping to find maybe one activity I could use, I was thrilled to find that I can use almost all the games and activities listed in the book. The games are easily explained with the helpful hints section being wonderful management tool that clearly show the writers depth and experience in the classroom. Too many 'classroom games books' are crammed full of games that I can not use, one book currently sitting gathering dust on my shelf has in excess of over 200 games of which I have only used 2. This small book (36 games) has 30 games that I know I will use, value for money as it works out for me at around 40 cents a game. The big dust collector cost me over $40 and worked out at $20 a game. The illustrations are clever and I have used them on overheads to explain the games, the kids love the character and have decided to call him GrEGG short for Game Egg. I would recommend this book to anyone who works with children, as the games within it are quick to learn, easily explained, and fun to play.
