What ever Rp it is. If you have news about it post it here. Like, if someone died, if someone had a child/kits/pups, if someone just got marryed, if a clan is going inactive. Stuff like that! Post what Rp it is too. Thanks! ~ Madeline

I found myself smiling just reading quickly through "365 Daily Affirmations for Happiness;" I'm sure that if I took the time to digest a single one each day, the profound simplicity of each affirmation would give me plenty to think about and connect with. I think Dr. Jan Yager has done a good thing by focusing on writing a book purely made up of positive, uplifting statements; we of the busy world focus too much on efficiently getting work done and various negative things in life, and we tend not to spend enough time on ourselves and our happiness. But there will always be negative things in life. There will always be things that we just cannot control. What this book reminds you of is what you are in control of is your happiness; change your mindset and your life will change. Statements like "Money is only money, not a substitute for happiness" and "I can change someone's life with one conversation" really hit home with me; they might make a difference in your life too.

I wish I had Jan's inspiring book when I was a caregiver to my aging parents, both with Alzheimer's, to pull me back from the brink of despair to positive thinking faster. Reading affirmations is a fantastic tool for instantly changing a mindset, because you can't have positive and negative thoughts at the same time--so who needs the negative ones? The insightful introduction and suggested activities for work happiness makes it also valuable for human resource managers, therapists, trainers, and activity coordinators. If you are going through a challenging time (who isn't?), caring for an aging loved one, dealing with depression, illness, or just need some positive reinforcement, you will refer to Jan's book again and again for instant strength and hope. --Jacqueline Marcell, Author of 'Elder Rage', International Speaker on Eldercare & Alzheimer's, Host of the 'Coping with Caregiving' Radio Show
