Ed has a grip on what it means to be a modern man. He lets his life experience guide his writing to bring out the reality of the situations and personalities he has encountered. This is perhaps his finest novel of the series, in that he defines his boundaries and sticks to them, regardless of the pressure to compromise. His ability to formulate a plan and stick to it is refreshing. The confidence to know that the best laid plan often falls apart and either needs a back-up plan, or quick thinking to salvage the real situation.

The dialog and interpersonal relationships drew me into the story and would not let me go. I felt I was right there with him as he did what he does best.

    Thank you Ed.

This is a must read for all of the Ed Howdershelt fans out there!
