Even if you have read Jennifer's first book you have to read this one. From the point of view of her husband, Brew, you get a firsthand account of what it was really like to hike the Appalachian Trail in 46 days.

This was a disappointing book. It was written in short factual style. Each day had her starting & ending time, the foods she ate (provided by her support crew from local restaurants), animals seen & her physical condition. Nothing about the trail or the environment. Each day's entry was about 1/2 of a page. The result was dry & not very interesting. The forwards by both Drew & Jennifer were the best part of the book. If the whole novel had been written in that style, it would have been so much better. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
