Even if you have read Jennifer's first book you have to read this one. From the point of view of her husband, Brew, you get a firsthand account of what it was really like to hike the Appalachian Trail in 46 days.

This was a disappointing book. It was written in short factual style. Each day had her starting & ending time, the foods she ate (provided by her support crew from local restaurants), animals seen & her physical condition. Nothing about the trail or the environment. Each day's entry was about 1/2 of a page. The result was dry & not very interesting. The forwards by both Drew & Jennifer were the best part of the book. If the whole novel had been written in that style, it would have been so much better.

Freaking boring-not written by Jen. Had zero hiker insights that made "Odyssa" a great read. I feel ripped off.
