IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a very large anthology, and some people have experienced trouble navigating the work. To find each work in the anthology, you must go to the "Go To" section of your Nook, and then select "Chapter." It might get a blank screen--if it does, then hit the page forward button and the work will appear. This has confused some readers, and we are sorry for the inconvenience. Please also note that only the first three books will show when you are previewing a selected work. To view all 50 titles, you must buy the entire book.

    Great Collection but no TOC

The lack of a Table of Contents makes this collection functionally inaccessible. It was a great disappointment.

    Unable to navigate with Nook

The table of contents was left off of Volume Two, leaving me unable to jump to a specific "chapter" (each book is a chapter). The GoTo->Chapter menu item does not work on books this large in the Nook.

    Great Collection!

I bought this to travel with; most (maybe all?) can be found free, but it really does save you when your flying and you don't have wi-fi. It keeps it all in one place. The problem with the table of contents seems to be fixed--at least it worked for me! I'm using a standard Nook (not Nook Color)

Highly recommended. An entire library in my hand.

After figuring how to find the texts I have totally enjoyed reading the classics again. An inexpensive treasure.

    Would Not Open

I'm sure this would have been a terrific and cheap way to collect some wonderful books. Unfortunately, it would not (and still will not) open in my Nook. I received no response when I tried to have the problem resolved. Purchase at your own risk.

    Very Disappointed

I bought this and could not even read it because it would not go to the book I wanted to read. There is no table of content and all that showed up in my Nook was three books. Wish I had never purchased this!!

    A fantastic collection

This collection ( as well as volume one) is incredibly useful, epecially for school readings. That aside, these volumes contain books that every person should read in his or her life.

    A must had read list!

This is a good way to compact all the great books without having a lot of shelf space and bookcases. It's a wonderful collection to read again!

    Recommend!

I downloaded this on my Nook version 1.5 and the Table of Contents was in front where it's supposed to be and it is, in fact, active.

    A Short Short

Short but poignant! Also a "Forward" that is illuminating in the short life of Robert Louis Stevenson.

    BUY THIS FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, this is a MUCH better value than most classic books. This is three bucks, right? So one of the classic books--let's say, "Jane Eyre" would cost one-fiftieth of three dollars, which is, ummm... less than ten cents(I think). But if you JUST buy Jane Eyre, it's about ome dollar. So you SERIOUSLY save money buying this, since if you bought them at regular price it would cost you fifty dollars!!! :0

    I Also Recommend:

A Great Deal If You Like Classics

This book is a wonderful deal and well worth reading no matter who you are. Be sure to get volume one as well. If you've never read any classics, you should try this inexpensive book out. Some people have reported having problems with the download. It downloaded fine for me, but since it is a very large book it did take a while longer to download than other books.

    watch out for typos

This is a wonderful collection but it is full of errors. Something was missed in the print to power pad translation. It is very distracting.
