Great idea but it should be marked "Abridged".

I was a bit disappointed when reading "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" to see that it was not the complete text. Haven't checked the other stories but I'm somewhat hesistant to now.

    a good idea

I haven't been through a lot of this book but from what I have skimmed so far, this is not a flawless anthology. It definitely doesn't look like reading a book. The top corner that is supposed to show the title only shows 20,000 Leagues under the Sea-for all of the stories. Also there seems to be a conversion issue; at least one of the books has question marks everywhere as a typo. Kind of annoying. All in all, not bad for 3 bucks, but if those things bother you, forget it.

Great to Have in One Place

I was a little disappointed to see no illustrations, but I suppose that would have made the ePub way too large to publish. It's really great to have all these wonderful works in one place. It saves me when I have no wi-fi!

    Awesome Book!

I love how you can get 50 of these awesome children's classics! If it does have a few mistakes, you don't really notice them, because they're very small. I know other people have complained about the contents because they said it only listed 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea for the books, but mine was fine. Again, this a really great book and most definitly is worth the 3 dollars.

    more from this reviewer

    messed up

the book listings in this collection are messed up, not all of them just the ones further down the list, if you click on war of the worlds it will take you to treasure Island, annoying but once you learn where it all is one can still navigate. Have not read any of the books yet.

    Four star

It had some viewing problems, but overall it was a great book for passing the time. It does contain the somewhat gruesome orignal Grimm fairy tales that are not for kids.
