I'm confused- why is the famous photograph of a man crying as he watches the Nazis march into Paris being used for the cover of "50 Classic Humor Books"? This man is weeping, not laughing, as he watches Nazis marching into Paris. Somebody really goofed in the editorial department!

Who was the dope who picked the crying Frenchman as cover for a book on humor? What was their other choice, the Hindenberg exploding?
