This current book by Lark Books clearly reflects a great degree of care in handling and portraying the artists' images. The writer of the introduction and co-juror with his wife Elaine, Tom Coleman (a noted ceramic master of nearly 40 years), clearly expresses his thoughts and promise for the contemporary ceramic artist. The image quality is by far the best of all of their '500' series and truly represents some of the best ceramic artists in the world. This is a must have book for collectors, artists, and teachers who want to see many excellent examples of form, color, tecture, value, etc. It is also a discussion piece for what constitutes good design and serendipity. Was this review helpful?
