    Incomplete common sense material.

I feel badly leaving negative reviews on anything, usually there is something to like. This, however, is in my opinion, a waste. It's super short, I wish I would have realized that on top of the things I note below.

Don't waste your cash, even an absolute beginner won't glean much from this. The 'tips' include things like learn how to use your camera's controls - (really? who wouldn't think of that?) - the kicker is, the controls mentioned are each their own tip. No exploration of the tip, just suggesting you go learn it.

Other tips include creating a blog, carry a camera, learn to up saturation in photoshop, encourage subjects after taking a shot - say good shot, use the rule of thirds, develop a ritual for packing bags... seriously, they aren't even basic tips. Most of it is common sense and none of it is explored.... this book can be summed up with... go learn elsewhere - and you know what? you should. This information, explained in much better depth is available free at any good photography blog.

I want my money back. What a waste.
