This book is about two nicknamers named Jeff and Wiley. They give everybody in the school nicknames except themselves. Jeff and Wiley are best friends, but that changes when a new girl in town, Cassandra, comes around. They think that she is odd at first, inlove with animals, too smart with endangered spieces, wacky style, she was just different. Then they came to think she was very special. While all this was going on Wiley and Jeff made a bet with Snoopy. Snoopy (who hated the nickname) said that you can give anybody any nickname and it will stick. So Snoopy picked a person for Wiley and Jeff to give a nickname to, if the nickname stuck then Wiley and Jeff would have to change Snoopy's nickname. Snoopy picked somebody named Mike Smith. The nickname that some how got chosen was the Iceman. Now back to Cassandra. Jeff and Wiley ended up fighting over Cassandra, the Sadie Hawkins dance was coming up so they both wanted Cassandra to ask them to the dance. Jeff and Wiley became worst enemies. Both of them thought that Cassandra would ask them. And that's all I'm telling you so that i won't ruin the ending. So all together this book is about not letting anybody come between you and your friends.

I read this book for a book report. It was very interesting and fun to read. I am so glad that I chose this book to read because I thought that this book report was going to be such a bummer.

Gordon Korman really brings to life what actually goes on inside a 6th graders head! Wiley and Jeff could be a role model for friends everywhere! So read this book and you'll be laughing 'til you drop!

This book was very funny, and I laughed at it a lot when I read how they called Christy Jones, Crusty Bones!

This book was a great book. Two kids, Jeff and Wiley, make a bet with another kid that they can't make up a nickname for a kid that is boring. They end up making up a nickname for him.

This book has many different nicknames for all of the characters except one, Cassandra Levy, the strange new girl at school. The boys cannot think of a nickname for this particular girl and so they friendship almost ceases to exsist. The nicknames are doing danger though too, and their new teacher almost loses their job. Can the boys fix this mess? Read this book to find out!

Wiley and Jeff have always been best friends. Almost everyone at their school has been nicknamed by them. Peter Widman is better known as 'Skunk' because of the white streak through his black hair. Their principal with his his open-eyed stare was nicknamed 'Deer in Headlights', thanks again to Wiley and Jeff. And their not-so-bright class is 'The Dim Bulbs'. But sometimes it looks as if assigning nicknames has a lot stronger effect than they thought. They better be able to get it together soon.
