Overview

The 2-Way Cover Stand features a smooth but durable leather like material exterior and a non-slip rubberized lining. An elastic band nested in the back cover can be looped over the front to keep the case closed; hidden magnets secure the front cover when you fold it back. Inside, a 3-point clip mechanism holds your tablet securely while offering easy access to the ports and controls. The inner clip has a rubberized foot, which provides for stability as you convert the cover into a stand and view your device in landscape mode at multiple angles. For portrait mode, just pull out the interior front panel to create a sturdy easel.

The 2-Way Cover Stand is accented by embossed "n" logos on the front cover and the interior front panel; an embossed "nook" logo decorates the back. The 3-point clip allows for easy access to the buttons, headphone jack, microSD slot, and the charging port. There is also an opening in the back cover for the device’s camera.

Excellent cover! I like the fact you can change the angle of reading in landscape and stays where you put it.

This works great and it does securely hold the nook in both landscape and upright. For upright reading there is a kick-stand type pull out that connects with a ribbon. For landscape, you need to turn the bottom of your nook to the right, on the now lower (left side of the nook clamp) there is a rubber part that you place along the inside of the cover. The two surfaces are rubbery so it holds really well. The bad review is probably from someone who did not understand how to place it. Agree that it is no t the finest material, but I had the nook color and this is way better than the cover I had from back then. Recommend.

functionally the cover works well, but the cover material isn't very durable. I received the product for Christmas and took it on its first trip this week. As a result, the case shows a couple of scuffs and one small cut through the soft outer skin material from sliding in and out of my brief case. I carried my nook color for 2 years with the same leather case and never had a problem.

What a weak piece of junk. I had a Nook HD, and the cover for it was wonderful; strong and supported the device in landscape. It does not support the weight properly and the device will not stay in an upright position after contacting with touches over a short period. There are no locks to hold the device in position (portrait or landscape). The only effective use for this cover, is just that: a cover. It is worthless as a stand. Unless all you need is a cover I DO NOT recommend this item.

SarrieJ, not sure what she is talking about…my case has absolutely no issues, and by the way, if it gets dirty, just use some water and nothing else and it will come right off.

Design is very useful but cover is easily prone to staining And impossible to clean. Don't eat potato chips, for example, while reading on your nook. Cleaning will just smear your fingerprints.

this is the best cover ever; I'm an avid reader and always looking for a tablet cover with a vertical stand; this is the best on the market so far

Why is it SO difficult to find a cover for my NOOK Glowlight that is worth the money? This is a piece of cardboard CRAP! There is a band that holds the front cover from opening, but what is does is peel the coating on the cover off! I bought this case a week ago and already it is in the trash! Come on Barnes and Noble, it really isn't too much to ask for a quality case, now is it??
