This is a great book that makes getting back in shape simple to understand, yet challenges you to push yourself to the next level. The author covers all aspects from preparation, execution and nutrition. Options for at home work outs are hard to find, but this book is full of great ideas! I highly recommend this book!
I have been following Brett's progress since his last book and got 7 Weeks to Getting Ripped based on his personal results. Brett started in great shape and definitely transformed to "ripped" following his own plan and diet. It's nice to finally see a writer following his own advice and putting it to the test. I'm hoping to have the same results in the coming weeks and never step into another stinky gym or buy another expensive DVD workout! I look forward to my personal results and Brett's next workout routine.
The routines in this book are very practical and you can skip straight to the workouts if you want. However, I found the introductory reading insightful and to the point. No confusing formulas, time tables or points to count. Simple nutrition guides and tips to keep motivated are included. There are also exercise games explained if you want to get in shape with others. Learned a new movement called the J-up and it really works my entire body. I can get an entire workout in less than 30 mins and I feel great! I recommend this book to those that want quick workouts outside of the gym.
