In just two weeks you'll lose weight, be healthier, and you can still eat your favorite chips, cookies, and ice cream!

The reason so many diets fail for so many people is that they force the dieter to cut out the foods they love and crave. Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
A little indulgence goes a long way in this diet plan, which promises readers weight-loss results from eating 90 percent healthy foods and 10 percent Fun Foods -- typical diet no-nos, which are listed by brand-name and assigned a portion-size. Portions figure largely in the plan, but readers are more likely to relish measuring out 50 percent carbs, 30 percent (or less) fat, and moderate amounts of protein, when they know a reward awaits them. With three programs (including menus) from which to choose -- varying in caloric intake and based on target weight -- chances are everyone will find a plan to suit their lifestyle. Bauer's friendly, personable style and her guilt-free approach to eating make for a fun, accessible book.

BRAVO!!! Finally, a realistic approach to dieting.

Read an article on this book in Biography Magazine (April 2003 issue). Found the article interesting enough to try out the sample diet and within 2 weeks I lost 4 lbs and my husband lost 8. Very realistic results from a simple to understand, easy to follow diet. We especially liked the idea of including a 'fun food' everyday. Gives you something extra to look forward to. I should also add, my husband is difficult to please when trying to approach him on the subject of a diet. He and I love this diet plan so much that I ordered 2 of Joy's books: 90/10 and The Complete Idiot's Guide... (not to crazy about that title). I recommend these books to all my friends and family. My husband is getting many compliments and that helps him to continue.

The plan is realistic, easy to follow and long term.

Wow! What a simple plan that is so easy to follow. I'm about to turn 30 this year and I've never dieted. I've always been able to eat whatever, whenever with no problems. Recently, I have had some thryoid trouble that has added some extra weight that I can't seem to get rid of. So, I looked for some info and inspiration. I found it and lots more. I don't like to read or have time to, however, this book was so easy to read and follow that I couldn't put it down. I haven't finished a whole book in years but I finished this one in less than 2 weeks! Normally, nutrition and diet books are difficult to read and are confusing. This was the best book (of any kind) I've read in a very long time. I highly recommend this book. The plan is realistic, easy to follow and long term. It's all about balance and portion control. Plus, you still get to have goodies!
