This book really does cover everything as far as creating financial goals and meeting them by prioritizing your spending. It covers getting your spouse on board and teaching your children to be responsible with their money. Not only does the author share hundreds of money saving tips but he also delves into spending quality time with your family and increasing their awareness of spending and the value of a dollar. All of this, he wraps together in a way to show us to improve our quality of life while living frugally. This book will benefit anyone at any stage of their lives and it comes at a perfect time with the economy as it is. Kudos to the author!

This is probably the most comprehensive book I have ever seen concerning finances. The author is completely practical, real, comprehensible, and furthermore, he speaks with true integrity. I did not realize until I was part of the way through the book that he wrote another fantastic book: "Your Mark on the World." This book does somewhat cross over to that book in a few areas, but mostly, this is a book that can help you get your finances in order. I was most impressed with the organization and the practical advice he gave. This book is not a book that you would sit down and read from cover to cover. Find the area where you are struggling, and check it out. Most of his ideas are common sense ideas, but quite seriously, we sometimes don't follow through with things that are so simple and easy to implement. Having a knowledgeable person give us solid advice is very often what we need to get us going. In fact, there is a website I have tried to use before, and I didn't understand the significance of it. He has explained it so well that I think I might just go back to his chapter on it and walk through the process. If you are making a resolution to get your finances under control (or you want to do it or know you should do it), I invite you to check out this book. It will be a reference you will turn to again and again. I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.

925 Ideas to Help You Save Money was really very interesting. There was a lot of insight and many helpful hints included in this book. Mr. Thorpe doesn’t go into too much detail on his 925 ideas, just giving us enough to get the point and then he moves on. Some of my favorite ideas were how to teach our teens to handle money, and the explanations on the different investments and how they can be utilized. These were very helpful!! More… Author: Devin D. Glad it was free, it's just like every other book like it, but manages to come across as completely condescending.
