All Music Guide - Leo Stanley
98?' eponymous debut album is an appealing mixture of urban soul and pop-oriented hip-hop, all targeted at teens. It may lack a set of consistently engaging songs, but the best cuts suggest that the group is capable of some dynamic contemporary soul. [98?' debut album was reissued in the spring of 1998, with the Diane Warren composition "Was It Something I Didn't Say" added as a new track. The song was included after it received exposure in the film Fame L.A.]

    Not just another

98 Degrees is an awesome album. The group is extremely talented. What makes this album great is it's not just one fantastic voice. they're all great. The ballads are beautifully done and the other songs are really danceable.

    It's a good CD

98 degrees is a great volcal group. Their second album is better then this one though. Jeff's voice starts to get really annoying on some songs. I ended up yelling at the cd player because his voice bugged be at times. Now he's better, he's the best singer on the second one. But other than that, it's a CD full of love and heart. Nick's voice is very beautiful.
