About the Author

Michael J. Riha is Director of Design and vice chair of the drama department at the University of Arkansas. He is a member of USA-829 and has designed scenery, lighting, sound, and costumes for well over one hundred productions. His most recent projects include work as an assistant designer to Christine Jones on the Broadway revival of On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, starring Harry Connick, Jr., as well as the 2013 Metropolitan Opera production of Rigoletto.
