About the Author


Guy Jean resides in Gatineau, Quebec, where he is much involved in the development and promotion of literature. He collaborates in creative and translation projects with artists and poets in Quebec, USA and Europe. He is the author of eight books of poems, including En partance (Éditions d'Art Le Sabord, 2010), Du sang sur les astilbes (Écrits des Hautes-Terres, 2003), and Et l'eau répondit (Écrits des Hautes-Terres, 2006) all published in Québec. The English translations of his poems have also appeared widely in magazines and journals in the United States.
