Helps to stop the tattle tongue in each and every classroom!

This book was a great addition to my classroom library. It helped to stop the tattling that was going on constantly. We read the book as a group and then posted the rules for tattling. As soon as someone comes over to tattle , I ask 2 simple questions - 1. are you or someone else being hurt? 2. are you tattling to get someone in trouble? This has stopped 95% of the tattling going on in the classroom! I highly recommend it. It is a great addition to a classroom library!

As an elementary school counselor, I have used this book for classroom guidance lessons. The children are engaged by it and it does a fantastic job of explaining the difference between warning and tattling. The only thing I would have added to the book is clarification that warnings should also include when a person's property is stolen or ruined.

    Great teaching tool

I can't wait to read this to my first grade class-I have several that are just like the main character. The explanation of the difference between tattling and warning is child friendly.
