Betty Johnson is an officer in the army. She has no will to live and tries to get herself killed on the grisly and war torn battlefield after her partner, Marissa was killed several months earlier in an ambush. She feels that she could never be the same without Marissa. However then she meets Diana Pendergast. Diana is a tough Sergeant who never hesitates to whip those under her command into shape.
She prevents Betty's death and they ultimately share a close encounter. However things turn complicated as an army nurse named Kate Anderson gets involved in the middle of their relationship. Emotions surge and the pressures already exerted on them to conform by society start closing in on them.
Betty attempts to make sense of the difficult situation as she juggles between her emotions and her responsibilities as an officer. Diana struggles with her new discovery and begins to act out, going against her dedicated professionalism as a soldier. Kate goes into denial but is compelled by the feelings inside her as they overwhelm her senses and take over her mind. Things get even more difficult as they return to their duties as soldiers. They deal with the pressures from their families, friends, and colleagues as they struggle to understand themselves and how they feel for each another while doing their jobs on the front line.

If u r a man...you know nothing of gays in service and u sound like a 10year old who wants to be a famous or ur fantacies areimpeded due to lack of maturety. If u r a woman /gay or not what a disrespectable disservice u do. Ur characters were portrayed like bubble gum chewing teens . All ur characters came across as immature. The "swells" "gees" . The gazilllon ! Marks behind every "ok!" "Are yyou okay!!? U have a very long way to go,but if ur goiing to write anything about do some research. No soldier gay or straight would act like u have them. I'm offended on how u protrayed men and women who put their lives at risk while ur in the comfort of safety. U are most likely a good person who may need more life experiences before becoming a decent writer.
