I loved all the romance that dominated the book, but also loved how Greek mythology and action was peppered throughout the story as well. The descriptions of Ava being surrounded by Ari's family were some of my favorite scenes. The story made you want to be there to experience everything right along with Ari and Ava. A Beautiful Fate sucked you in as if you were in one of Ava's dreams yourself. I hope there will be a second one because A Beautiful Fate definitely left me hanging!

"This is just one of the coolest books I’ve read in a while. There is something to be said about books that are unique. Books that can take a simple fable and spin it into so much more. A Beautiful Fate is exactly that.
Romance. Action. Beautiful storyline. It’s all here and better than ever. "

I now consider Cat Mann a favorite author and would definitely recommend A Beautiful Fate to anyone who loves paranormal, mythology and romance mixed together.

This is a well researched and thoroughly enjoyable novel steeped in mystery and mythology. An ancient feud dating back to the times of the Greek Gods and their heirs extends into today and provides Ava and Ari and the readers with hours of spine tingling adventure and excitement . The 13 year old age raring given to this book by B&N is a disservice to the Author and prospective readers. This not a book for 13 yr old children .Mature readers will find this novel as exciting as Brown's "Inferno" or "The Da Vinci Code "

I could not put this book down! The author did a great job of making me really fall in love with the characters. I love those moments when I gasp aloud while reading and this book had me gasping at every turn. I would recommend A Beautiful Fate to anyone who is looking for a great new book obsession! I put this book right up on my shelf next to my favorites like The Hunger Games, The Host, and Twilight! I think Cat Mann will be giving these authors a run for their money with The Beautiful Fate series! I CANNOT wait for book 2.

What a novel! This book had it all, suspense, romance, action, and even a lesson in mythology, which made it hard to put down! I connected with the characters and felt like I was reliving some of my high schools years - even getting butterflies as the author so descriptively wrote about the feelings between Ava and Ari. The author teases you a bit as she builds the story- leaving you anticipating to find out more and more about the characters and what is going to happen. A modern day story with the lore of mythology I highly recommend this great read to YA and adult readers alike!

I'm not sure I say it enough, but I love when authors reach out to me. There are so many amazing stories out there that without their self-promotional efforts I -- and in turn you -- would probably never find them. With that being said, I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Cat Mann's A Beautiful Fate brings my some of favorite stories and characters - those of Greek mythology into the modern world. While the story centers primarily around one girl in particular, the world she finds herself in is steeped in connections to gods, goddesses, demigods and, yes, the 3 Fates. Ava Baio is introduced to us at what has to be one of the hardest parts of any life - she has just become a 17 year old orphan and is forced to move thousands of miles from the life she knows to live with a grandmother she barely knows or likes for that matter. In her short life, Ava has faced a number of daunting obstacles only to find herself facing the most daunting of all in her new life in California. Cat Mann addresses the emotions of Ava with such a careful hand that the readers are able to truly find themselves feeling what she is - her happiness, fear, pain and love. It's been some time since I could truly identify with a teen heroine so well. I especially love the way Mann wrote the romantic subplot of Ava's story - it wasn't overwhelming to the story as a whole but truly worked to develop the characters into people you came to care about. So many times I expected the story to end - there were a few cliff-hanger moments - so when the story continued I was incredibly happy. We as readers are given enough story to truly understand how one year can change a person so drastically without feeling like it took forever to get to the point. Though when the tale did end (I was on a subway at the time and I think the man sitting next to me thought I was crazy with me 'don't stop there' outburst) I understood the logic behind the ending but I still wish I could have had more. If you're looking for a story to drag you in and hold you hostage this is most definitely the story for you - the series has me captive and I don’t think I want to escape. Happy Reading :-)
