Meet the Author

Award-winning author Alice Duncan lives with a herd of wild dachshunds (enriched from time to time with fosterees from New Mexico Dachshund Rescue) in Roswell, New Mexico. She’s not a UFO enthusiast; she’s in Roswell because her mother’s family settled there fifty years before the aliens crashed. Since her two daughters live in California, where Alice was born, she’d like to return there, but can’t afford to. Alice would love to hear from you at alice@aliceduncan.net. And be sure to visit her website: aliceduncan.net

    Boring

I got to pg 415 and quit reading. Yawn! In those 415 pgs was one quick kiss. That's it! The author goes too far describing the character's thoughts. You could have 2 pages of one's thoughts and one small paragraph of dialog. Overuse of slang as well. The male character Alex says, "Dash it" in about every other paragraph and the female character, Miss Finney says, "Nuts" about every other paragraph. It actually got irritating to me. Sorry, it doesn't take much to keep me entertained but I think I gave this book a fair shot. It failed.
