The final piece of the Derrick Storm trilogy from #1 New York Times bestselling author Richard Castle, available exclusively as an eBook short.
Derrick Storm is back--this time with a crack team of ghost CIA operatives. These former agents have all faked their own deaths and now work for the CIA on a strictly secret basis, taking on dangerous and illegal jobs the agency may not officially carry out. They're headed to the Molguzar Mountains to look for sixty billion dollars' worth of gold hidden by the KGB before the collapse of the Soviet Union, and taking a perilous detour to rescue FBI agent April Showers from a sociopathic torturer. But Storm's loyalties are put to the test as the mission begins to unravel into a bloody mountaintop showdown, and he and Showers must find out the hard way that their assignment may not be what they thought it was...

I don't like being "duped". Read Brewing Storm, get to the end and to find out the rest I have to purchase A Raging Storm. Then, to find out the end had to purchase one more, A Bloody Storm.Who can be expected to just read one of them and not want to know the ending. Let's hope that I don't have to do this again.
Did enjoy the books though.

Roleplaying does not belong on a book review site. Ppl come here to read reviews about books, not have to go thru all these stupid posts about cats with stupid names. From what i was told at bn, they do not approve of this and will be looking into it. I will continue to protest and hope others will to until u children are taken off this site.

This is the third book in a trilogy, and I must say I cannot what for Storm's next adventure. If you love Nikki Heat you will love Storm. I was hooked on these since I started to read the first page. It is quite the adventure ride. Get it and read it you will not be sorry.

This is actually the third mini-book of a series of three. I could not put them down and really enjoyed the action. You should read A Brewing Storm(first installment) and a Raging Storm (second installment). It is a story of a "dead" (retired) agent who gets recalled to help solve a current problem as well as clearing up who the traitor was that caused his last mission to go sideways. Fast moving and very clear to follow.

I liked this book and the other ones that follow the series.
I enjoy ready a series and the only thing different that I would say about these books is that I wish they were longer.

Did a good job ending the three part short summer series. Certainly only worth the couple $ I paid. Read because I love the tv show. All in all a fun easy book. Don't expect to much and u will enjoy.

I agree that this is not the place for roleplaying. Go do it in a forum or in youtube comments (no one reads those anyway). I come here to see reviews from people who actually read the books I'm interested in. Nonsense posts about cats don't really help me decide whether or not I should read a book. If you insist on continuing to misuse this site, at least contain yourselves to the review sections of the books your game is based on.

These 'Storm' shorts helped tide me over while I waited for Frozen Heat to come out. I enjoyed the quick-paced action.

Richard Castle has another outstanding book. The plot and characters are still great. I have read most of his work and have enjoyed everyone of them. I hope you will read and enjoy them as much as I have.

I enjoyed the book. Infact all three were good. What I didn't like was being suckered into buying three. I purchased the first one knowing it was going to be a short story. I did not expect it to be a a third of one book cutting you off mid story so you have to buy all three to find out what happens.

Although I've enjoyed all the Richard Castle books...this one was a little predictable and disappointing. I did read it as I've grown to like the main character, 'Steve Mason' and figure there will be other books to follow. We'll see....

Nothing wrong with wanting some literary junk food, am I right? Entertaining, but a week after reading it, I couldn't tell you what it was about other than "there's spies in it." It is what it is, which is a bag of potato chips. You go through them without realizing how many you're eaten, the calories are empty and you know you should feel bad, but your eyes keep wandering to the next one on the shelf...

I found the 3 part series to be full of intrique and suspense. The main characters develop well throughout with some surprises in the ending. It is very well written and really held my interest. I read it on a Nook.
