Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
A Toy Story represented a major new direction for a Disney animated feature: All the animation was computer-generated. Anyone with a home PC knows how fast-moving the world of computers can be; buy a computer today and it's out of date before you've got it home and out of the box. And although that very popular film came out only three years ago, the art of computer animation has made great strides since then, as reflected in Disney's next film, A Bug's Life. In A Bug's Life: The Art and Making of an Epic of Miniature Proportions, Jeff Kurtti, author of a number of books celebrating Disney's magic, gives the reader a behind-the-scenes look at the process of making this much-anticipated film.
