Overview

Old-fashioned spanking romance at its best from author Chula Stone!

Gordon Hill, Tennessee, 1901... Dr. David Byrd, the new veterinarian in town, had his eye on Celia, but it seemed everyone around her was working against him. Her best friend disliked him because he seemed unromantic and stern. Her father disapproved of all horse doctors just on principal. Her stepmother had to mind her husband and keep David away from the house or face her own consequences. Only his friend, Coleman, could offer any help or encouragement.

One hurdle after another blocked David’s path as he struggled to get her father’s permission to make her his own. Then he had to find a way to get her down the aisle. David knew how to deal with a wayward woman and didn't hesitate to apply a good bottom-warming when it was needed, but after winning Celia’s heart, could he truly convince her to trust him? Giving up wasn't a choice, no matter how many bottoms had to be set ablaze.

Though this book can stand on its own, it is a sequel to “A Stitch in Time” and readers will recognize old friends from Gordon Hill.

    Good story!

If you like your stories with lots of spankings in them then this is the book for you. Some may seem to not have been deserved but it is fiction and it is a good story about a man trying to win over the girl he wants and having to get past all the obstacles her family has put in the way.
