Overview

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
...or did he?

Detective Nathaniel Spade is known far and wide as the best PI in town, and the only one who is not operating out of the king's pocket. The land of Fabel is a vibrant world full of well known characters from history's most famous fables, nursery rhymes and fairy tales. One would imagine a world filled with bedtime stories to be a place of great cheer and tranquility, but when beloved characters as innocent as Little Miss Muff et, Old King Cole and the Ugly Duckling begin to show their true colors, it becomes apparent that all is not as it seems in the land of Fabel.

For years the great fall of Humpty Dumpty has been dismissed as an accident. It is up to Detective Spade to piece together the evidence that will illuminate Fabel's darkest shadows with the light of truth.

    Crearive TWIST

The author of this book came to my school and told us about it. He i very nice man and his lead computer editor met lil wayne in a club. This does show a creative twist on the fairy tales we grew up hearing at bedtime. Perhaps ir woud be better at 5 99 instead of eight dollars but srill a great book. I think thee should ba sequal.

    Highly recommended

An awesome thrill ride of mystery, sleuth and twists. A definite page turner, infectious story and well defined characters. Not to be presumptious, but I envision this as "Big" as The Harry Potter series. Author: Alexander A. Anderson captures and encapsulates the "Humpty Dumpty" story and answers the open ended question: Was he pushed or did he simply fall? Brilliant!!!!!

Awesome mystery novel for all ages!

A litte action, a little romance, a lot of mystery and a ton of fun! This book is a detective mystery set in a world of characters from fables, fairy tales, and children's nursery rhymes. The last review I read on the book stated that, "the book is unique in that it incorporates characters from other genres into a detective story in a humorous fashion. It is a fun, fast-paced read." I agree 100%. Also, the author has a cool website setup where you can look at concept art, write to the author, play games and friend him on facebook. Groovy I tell you. Groovy!
