A Carnegie Hall Christmas Concert

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Rodney Batdorf
A Carnegie Hall Christmas is a great collection of classical interpretations of traditional carols. There are a couple of contemporary tunes, such as "The Christmas Song" and "Winter Wonderland, " which are given rich orchestral treatments, but most of the album consists of lush, luxurious arrangements of songs like "Twelve Days of Christmas," "Silent Night," and "Joy to the World," all of which make for ideal holiday listening, no matter what the occasion is.

    Just like I remembered!

I grew up listening to this CD every Christmas. My dad would always play it at some point or another. I bought it for the sentimentality of having it played at my house to get me in the Christmas mood. Great songs, great musicians and singers. Definately a wonderful addition to any Christmas collection.
