    Very detailed, sometimes too much

I can recommend this book to anyone studying for the A+ Core and OS exams. However, if you are new and have no real experience in building and/or upgrading computers I would suggest another text book (Mike Meyer's A+ book is also pretty good). Overall, this book will serve as a good reference and if you have the stomach to read (and learn ofcourse) everything you'll be sooo ready for the exams
