Editorial Reviews

Lisa of Joyfully Reviewed
...A Chance Encounter brings together a hot ménage mixed with a little domination and some sexy fae to top it all off. This is a unique plot with intriguing characters that pulls you right in and holds on tight. It is however a bit irritating not knowing the classifications of fae in this story to better understand some of their actions. Still, A Chance Encounter draws readers into the heart of these conflicted fae and never let up.

Meet the Author

I've been an avid reader since the fifth grade. As I aged I read everything I could get my hands on from horror, to mystery and finally stopping in romance. While in college studying computer programming and electrical engineering, I realized what I wanted to do when I grew up. I wanted to write those stories that entertained me through more nights than I could count. Of course my first attempts were less than remarkable and have been destroyed to protect the innocent. :) As the years have progressed life kind of took over. I got married, had a son, changed jobs several times. But one thing remained constant -- my desire to write. Currently, I work a normal 9 to 5 in the IT world. I write during my lunch hour and at home after 9pm when everyone in my house is asleep. Is it easy?...Yes and No. Coming up with the stories is easy. Getting the words out of my head and onto paper is HARD! But I couldn't live without it!

    Good - worth the price

Its about 157 pages long so it's worth the price (barely). The plot was pretty rushed but overall it was good.

    Very good read!!

*side note* one reviewer said the grey men raped Heather..... Ok so not what happened. If you read it she was afraid of being caught because she didn't want a husband...... The sex was consensual. **** as for my review..... Well thought out. Sexy, strong, romantic characters who compliment each other. If you like fantasy romance then give this a read.

    Lame to the Tenth Power

The reason I didn't like this is because the two grayman fae raped Heather, but they reason it as it being okay because she's a Lihann Shee, which is apparently some highly sought after sex fae. Their was no easing into it or seduction, more like, 'We want you and we're boning whether you like it or not.' Then at one point were the crazy hot sex actually makes the graymen pass out for FIVE days, does she run or kill or get rid of them? Noooo. She stays their and looks after them because she felt "bad" because she didn't warn them that that could happen as a result of them raping/sexing her. What really irritated me about this is how it started off as rape and a life of servitude and turned into "I miss you" and "I love you." It seemed like she had a hardcore case of Stockholm Syndrome to me. The sex was hot, but I HATED the story.

    Not Worth It

The story was a little too short to develop the characters or this world with fae. What little I did get to know of them, I didn't like. I'm all for the alpha male (or two), but these men just seemed pushy. It was a turn off.

    Not worth the .99

The first reviewer was dead on. The sex scenes in this book were tantamount to rape. If they had been consensual it would have been a different story entirely. It completely killed it for me when they were doing things to her she didnt like and werent allowing her to speak at all. i guess it worked out though because three pages after they raped her she " missed them so much, and never knew that this is what love felt like." I now need a clorox shower.

    Good

I read this book. It was a different look into the fae realm. I don't think heather was raped. She liked all that happened.she is after all a sex fae. That is her power. J... :-@

    It's not bad!

The ending is a little to abrupt. Needed to end a little more smoothly.
